Found rising. Building of a school we have never done this before, we have never asked money to anyone. Donations have always been on free bases but this time we have an emergency. The village of Yeror is located at 5 Kms from Emdibir. The road to Yeror is not very good and it’s impossible to get to the village by car during the rain season. The village of Shebraber is located 40 Kms from Emdibir. The area is quite poor and many structures are needed. Luckily in the last few years the sisters of the Congregation of the Franciscan Missionaries of Christ have built there one of their missions. The village of Emdibir is housing the Episcopal see. Here the Catholic Church is taking care of different activities. There is a very spacious church, a nursery and primary school going up to the eight level Which is comparable to the Italian “terza media”. In the village of Getche the Catholic Church is running a clinic, a nursery and secondary school. The sisters of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Misericordy and the Cross are managing all the activities. There are four sisters there. E’ afflitta da una malattia ossea, non riesce a stare in piedi, e per spostarsi si deve trascinare sulla schiena. Nella diocesi di Emdibir le esigenze sono molte, di ogni tipo. Dopo un incontro con i responsabili delle strutture sanitarie è emersa una necessità principale. Considerando la scarsità di strutture sanitarie e lo stile di vita molto spartano, le figure professionali maggiormente necessarie sono quelle dei DENTISTI ed OCULISTI. L’impegno della Chiesa Cattolica nella diocesi di Emdibir è molto importante, in molti settori della società . I Â principali sono sicuramente gli interventi nel campo dell’istruzione e della sanità . Le scuole gestite sono quasi quaranta, ci sono poi quattro ambulatori e due ospedali. In questa foto ci sono le tre suore che si occupano della missione di Burat, seguono un ambulatorio in servizio 24 ore su 24. La suora al centro è la madre superiora, si chiama Suor Anna. A destra nella foto c’è Suor Sofia, mentre a sinistra c’è suor Lumina. Tutte tre sono infermiere professionali.
